Productivity (or the lack thereof)

There are just some days when I have more time than usual on my hands to do whatever I choose than others. Today was one of those days…and I kind of feel like I didn’t take full advantage of it.
I did get a couple of things checked off my to-do list, which mostly consists of important and/or urgent crochet projects. (You are probably thinking, “Define urgent as regards to crochet.”) Well, if a project that has been promised to someone has been on my list for too long or the due date is looming, then it becomes urgent.
Today, a promised typed-up version of a new crochet pattern was an “urgent” item and I got it done just in the nick of time. (The Crochet 101 scarf shown in a previous post.)
I also picked up some Bergere de France Fourrure yarn today for a crocheted fur trimmed toddler vest that has been rolling around in my head for weeks. I’m really excited to get started on that design!
And did you see that cute little sock monkey coffee cozy in a previous post? It was so much fun to make and we had such a hilariously good time at crochet group yesterday evening! I found the pattern on Ravelry and once I finish one last sock monkey hatorder, I am planning to devote all leftover red, white and grey yarn to making more of these!
By the time I finish this post it will be way (way, way) past my bedtime and just a few short hours away from another opportunity to take a stab at that list of to-do’s. I plan to be more productive this time around. =)
